What is WowPot?

WowPot is a progressive jackpot from award-winning global online gaming supplier, Microgaming. With its starting seed of €2 million, the WowPot jackpot is linked to all game titles carrying the jackpot across multiple jurisdictions. A small percentage of each bet goes into the jackpot fund, growing the WowPot jackpot until it is won. Winners can come from any casino or jurisdiction where the game can be played.

WowPot joins Microgaming’s industry-leading progressive jackpot network, which has paid out over €1.2 billion since inception.

Is WowPot linked to Mega Moolah?

While both jackpots are developed and maintained by Microgaming as part of its progressive jackpot network, the Mega Moolah and WowPot jackpots are not linked. This means that when you play a Mega Moolah game, you are not contributing to the WowPot jackpot, and vice versa. A big Mega Moolah win will not, therefore, have any effect on the WowPot jackpot – the two are completely separate and independent jackpots.

Which game should I play to win the WowPot?

Each game featuring the WowPot jackpot offers the same chance of triggering the jackpot, so let your personal preference guide you on this one! The exception to the rule is African Legends, which will feature only the Major tier of WowPot.

How big is the WowPot jackpot?

There is no upper limit to the size of the WowPot jackpot, which seeds at an incredible €2 million – twice that of the world-famous Mega Moolah! The jackpot value grows with each bet placed in a WowPot game until the jackpot is won, at which point it resets to a figure NOT lower than the starting seed of €2 million (currency variations can mean that a little extra is left in the pot on occasion).

So theoretically, a player could win the WowPot jackpot and a few minutes later another player could land the prize and still walk away with at least €2 million.

The same applies to the three other WowPot jackpot tiers, which seed at the following values:
Mini - Seeded at €10.00
Minor - Seeded at €100.00
Major - Seeded at €50,000
WowPot - Seeded at €2,000,000

There are different games that each feature the ‘WowPot Jackpot’. Are there separate jackpots for each title?

No. Each title that features the WowPot jackpot feeds into the same pot. The more titles and players that contribute to the jackpot, the bigger and faster the fund grows. Players can trigger the jackpot by playing any title attached to the network. The exception to the rule is African Legends, which will feature only the Major tier of WowPot.

What games feature the WowPot jackpot and which should I play?

The WowPot jackpot can be seen in the games Wheel of Wishes, Sisters of Oz™: WowPot and Book of Atem: WowPot. Each game has unique features and gameplay experience, so the choice is up to you!

You can trigger the jackpot on any title attached to the WowPot jackpot, so it really comes down to which game you enjoy the most, but we’d be hard-pressed to pick a favourite!

The only exception to this rule is with the game African Legends, which only features the Major tier of the WowPot jackpot.

Who created the WowPot jackpot?

Microgaming created the WowPot jackpot, which is part of its world-renowned progressive jackpot network. The Isle of Man-based supplier provides online gaming operators in markets across the world with access to an industry-leading portfolio of exclusive studio content and top-performing partner games, all through a single integration with its platform. Creator of the world’s first true online casino software in 1994, and home to legendary online slots such as Immortal Romance™, Thunderstruck II and Book of Oz, Microgaming offers a branded range that includes Game of Thrones™, Jurassic World™ and Lara Croft® Temples and Tombs™.

Microgaming’s renowned progressive jackpot network has paid out more than €1.2 billion to date and features the iconic, record-breaking Mega Moolah jackpot, making it a trusted and popular attraction for players worldwide.

How do I trigger the WowPot jackpot?

The WowPot jackpot can be triggered in different ways depending on the game you’re playing. In the Wheel of Wishes online slot, the WowPot can be triggered by landing a giant wheel symbol during a Power Spin.

Sisters of Oz™: WowPot and Book of Atem: WowPot both trigger randomly via a collection pot. In Sisters of Oz: WowPot, certain symbols land with a coin overlay. Each coin that is collected has the potential to trigger the WowPot bonus wheel. In Book of Atem: WowPot, players are on the hunt for the book symbols, which act as wilds, scatters (which can trigger free spins) AND collection symbols that can trigger the WowPot bonus!

During African Legends, players achieving eight or more consecutive rolls via Rolling Reels™ wins are awarded the Major tier of the WowPot jackpot.

What are the themes of the WowPot games?

The WowPot jackpot features in a variety of games, each with a different theme and game engine.

Wheel of Wishes takes players to the sands of Arabia with genie lamps and mystical wonders. Book of Atem: WowPot opens in ancient Egypt with Pharaoh’s books set to dish out fantastic awards. And for something a bit more whimsical, there’s Sisters of Oz™: WowPot, which is set in the fantastical world of Oz and hosted by four bewitching sisters.

Players looking for a chance at the Wow Major can check out African Legends, a thrilling African adventure with monolithic beasts awarding huge win potential.
